A robotic welding system earns its keep when it runs every shift, and what happens after installation decides how often it does. You already have the CLOOS service team for start-up and installation, maintenance and repairs, and programming. This program adds a planned layer on top: scheduled preventative maintenance, training for your operators, and lower costs for parts and technician time when you need us.

A technician visits, inspects the robot and controller, and leaves a written report with recommended actions.

Trained Operators

Silver and Gold plans include a free operator training day with each preventative maintenance visit.

Lower costs when you need us

Save 10% with Gold or 5% with Silver on spare parts and on-site technician time for the full term of the plan.

The program is optional. Customers who prefer to call us only when something needs attention can still do that. The plans are for the ones who would rather choose the date of their downtime than have a breakdown choose it for them.

What a preventative maintenance visit covers

A planned visit finds wear while your system is still running. It cannot promise a breakdown will never happen, and it gives us a chance to catch the next problem early. Each visit includes:

Robot and controller inspection
Cable and connection checks
Lubrication
Safety-device checks
A written report with recommended actions you can plan around
Backup verification, so your programs and settings are safe if a controller fails

Services that keep a system in top shape

Maintenance visits are the base. These services sit around them, and you can use them with or without a plan.

Operator and classroom training

Operators who know the system catch problems sooner. Silver and Gold plans include a free operator training day with each preventative maintenance visit. Gold adds Training for Life, and Silver includes 5% off
classroom training.

Spare parts

Silver and Gold plans lower the price of spare parts for the
full term of the plan, so a
repair costs less than it
would otherwise.

On-site and virtual technical support

Our technicians diagnose problems and support you remotely, or come to your site for repairs. Plans lower the price of on-site technician time.

Retrofits

If you run a system that is five years old or more, ask us about retrofit packages to update your equipment.

What is the CLOOS CARES Service Program?

It is a set of service plans for CLOOS robotic welding systems. Every plan puts preventative maintenance on a calendar. Silver and Gold plans add operator training and lower the price of spare parts and on-site technician time.

Do I need a CLOOS system to buy a plan?

Yes. CLOOS CARES plans apply to CLOOS equipment. If you are comparing systems, ask for the plan sheet along with your equipment quote, so you can weigh the support behind each system next to its price.

What is the difference between Gold, Silver and Bronze?

The length of the term and what comes with it. Gold runs five years, Silver three and Bronze one. Gold and Silver include a free operator training day with each preventative maintenance visit. Gold saves 10% on spare parts and on-site technician time and adds Training for Life. Silver saves 5% on parts and technician time and includes 5% off classroom training. Bronze is the first-year preventative maintenance visit with no discounts. Need something different? Ask us about a custom plan.

What happens during a preventative maintenance visit?

A technician inspects the robot and controller, checks cables and connections, lubricates, verifies your backups and checks the safety devices. You get a written report with recommended actions.

Will a maintenance visit prevent a breakdown?

We cannot promise that. A planned visit finds wear while your system is still running, so we can catch the next problem early and you can schedule the repair instead of reacting to it.

What if something breaks between visits?

Call our service team. We provide virtual technical support and on-site repairs, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central. Silver and Gold plans lower the price of spare parts and on-site technician time for the full term of the plan.

Do the discounts cover travel and expenses?

The discounts apply to spare parts and on-site technician time, off published prices. Travel and expenses are chargeable.

How much does CLOOS CARES cost?

It depends on your system and the length of the plan. Request a quote and we will send you a plan sheet with terms and pricing.

My system is five years old or more. What are my options?

Ask us about retrofit packages to update your equipment. The written report from each maintenance visit also shows what is worth addressing first.
